Looks like Stella Mwangi came guns blazing for her new video shoots!
The “ Hula Hoop” singer, who flew in just this morning, is reportedly
set to shut down Kenyatta Avenue in Nairobi this weekend to film scenes
for her new videos.
Reliable sources close the star confirmed to Vibe Weekly her presence
in the country on a 10-day visit to shoot just three music videos,
including “Bad As I Wanna Be”, her next single dropping on June 29th.
This will not be Stella’s first street-style music video, having
successfully tried the same for “Haba Haba”. Also, the elaborate shoot
will incorporate a lot of dancers and extras, reason why they had to
close the busy road. Cryptic tweets also reveal that along with her is
renown Norwegian cinematographer Christian Bastiansen who might helm the
videos.
Meanwhile, Stella Mwangi has been riding higher ever since the
release of her sophomore album, “Kinanda”. The record turned into a
hit-churning CD featuring hot collabos such as the monster single, “Hula
Hoop’.
