Criticts talk and talk.. Camp Mulla walk the talk

Fast rising hip-hop group CampMulla are at it yet again!!

Word has it that they have signed a deal with international record label Universal Music Group (UMG).
This is one of the biggest achievements this group has earned in a span on two years since making their musical debut. They were recently nominated for "Best International Act - Africa", at this year's 2012 BET awards becoming the first Kenyans to ever be nominated for a BET Award. They are up against Lira, Mokobé, Ice Prince, Wizkid and Sarkodie
Apart from CampMulla the record label that hosts big names Janet Jackson, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna,is also keen on working with talent from the ongoing Tusker Project Fame contestants.
The  record label recently signed dynamic duo P-Square.The deal which was finalised in Johannesburg, South Africa will see the music label release past and future projects with them, and will also be handling all their digital and CD sales all over the world.

Negotiations started long before their Big Brother performance and it seems their BET nomination will hopefully hasten talks. An insider close to the deal who chose to remain anonymous because of what’s at stake did not hide the fact that if it goes through, it could easily make members of the Camp Mulla group young multi-millionaires . And although the person would not disclose the exact amount, analysts estimate the figure could be in the Kshs 10 million range or more.
Could it be that Camp Mulla’s people are buying time, hoping that a BET win will give them better bargaining power? It certainly appears so, considering how lucrative the deal sounds from our vantage point.

Well.. true to their word, they are really "holdin it down"
